Hilltop Hereford Ranch (HHR) is located 7 miles southeast of Callaway, Nebraska. Our goal is to be the premier breeder of Line 1 Herefords. Led by Richard Estergard, with over 40 years of experience, we are committed to exceeding industry standards and promoting sustainable ranching.

Our plan is straight forward — develop Line 1 Hereford bulls which produce quality F1 Baldy heifers and bulls with Line 1 Hereford genetics to deliver superior Baldy calves with superior traits including size. 

We want to work with Angus breeders and producers within a 250 mile radius of  Broken Bow, Nebraska who purchase one or more of our Line 1 Hereford  bulls for cross breeding with their Angus cows or heifers. We will commit to buy back one or more of the first year Baldy calves produced from this cross breeding.  The resulting Baldy calves will be some of the best Baldy calves developed in the area.
